Dr. Sue was born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. She was an active member of the sporting community growing up, and a golf injury led her to pursue a career in Chiropractic.
She began her post secondary education at Central Connecticut State University on a golf scholarship and finished her degree at the University of Western Ontario where she gained her Bachelor of Science with Honours Specialization in Kinesiology. She captained and led the Western Mustangs Golf Team to many championships and also captained Team Canada in the World University Championships in Italy. After her time at UWO, Sue became a Canadian Professional Golfers’ Association Assistant Professional at Glen Abbey Golf Club to continue her passion for golf.
Dr. Sue obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), graduating with clinic honours. Throughout her time in Toronto, she gained certifications in Acupuncture, Full Body Active Release Techniques (ARTÒ), and was trained in Graston Techniques.
Dr. Sue focuses in the diagnosis and conservative treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in all areas of the body. She takes a holistic, functional and evidence-based approach to healthcare and believes in communicating with the patient while including them in their own individualized treatment plan. Her goal during each visit is to ensure the patients feel cared for, listened to and progress.
Whether she’s treating an avid athlete, a mom or an executive, Dr. Sue encourages her patients to become active partners in setting and achieving healthier lifestyle and treatment goals.
